Children are not small adults.
Anatomic and physiological differences between toddlers, children and adults make even a normal paediatric airway a challenge for inexperienced clinicians.
Therefore, paediatric airway management requires experience as well as the right instruments. At KARL STORZ we offer a broad spectrum of solutions for managing the paediatric airway, including the C-MAC® videolaryngoscope, flexible intubation scope and Brambrink rigid scope.
Remember - the majority of paediatric difficult airway cases are unexpected!!
